Demography
The Jewish population is approximately 70-80 including children and babies.
Community Life
There is no synagogue and the community is isolated from mainstream Judaism; they pray together in people's homes.
They are self taught, using the internet to learn prayers, laws and the Torah. The first rabbi to visit was Rabbi Bonita Sussman, President of the Kulanu Organisation, in 2010.
Kashrut
There is no kosher food available. Community members are self trained in shechita and slaughter their own poultry.
Education
There is a Jewish school in Cameroon from kindergarten age through to high school.
